Yokaigiri: Idle Samurai RPG (Android · iOS · com.kaizen.yokaigiri)
Last updated: 24 August 2026
The short version
Yokaigiri needs no account and keeps no personal profile about you. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or files, and the app touches none of them. Your progress and settings live on your device; a copy of your progress is kept under an anonymous, device-derived account number so it can be restored and so purchases and rewards cannot be forged. The free game is supported by optional rewarded video ads from Google AdMob, which uses your device’s advertising ID to show and measure ads; where the law requires it you are asked to choose first, and a one-time Skip the videos purchase removes them.

This policy explains what information the Yokaigiri mobile app (“Yokaigiri”, “we”, “us”) processes, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the app and its supporting server.
1. Information we process
Advertising ID (for ads). When ads are enabled, the Google AdMob SDK reads your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA) to select, show, cap, and measure rewarded video ads and to limit ad fraud. This identifier is processed and shared by Google AdMob. On iOS the IDFA is used only if you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings at any time. Removing ads with the one-time purchase stops these ad requests.
Purchases (for verification). When you buy something, the store (Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store) processes the payment; we never see your card or billing details. To make sure a purchase is genuine before we grant it, the app sends the store’s purchase receipt to our server, which checks it directly with Google Play or Apple. We keep a record of which in-app items you own so the game can restore them and so a purchase cannot be replayed for a second reward.
Anonymous account number and progress. The app derives a random, anonymous account number on your device. It is not your name, email, or any device serial, and it is not linked to your real identity. Under this number our server keeps a copy of your game progress (stage, currencies, collection, purchases, and how many ads you have watched today), so progress can be restored, the daily rewarded-ad limit can be enforced, and time-based rewards cannot be gained by moving your device clock. You can see and copy this number on the app’s Settings screen.
What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise or coarse location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone, or files. The game has no sign-in, no social login, and no user-to-user messaging.
2. How the information is used
- To run the game — saving and restoring your progress, granting purchases, and delivering the rewards you earn.
- To show optional ads — selecting, capping, and measuring rewarded videos through Google AdMob.
- To prevent fraud and abuse — verifying receipts with the stores and enforcing daily ad limits and server-checked time so rewards cannot be forged.
We do not sell your information, we do not build advertising profiles ourselves, and we do not use your information for any purpose beyond those above.
3. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the things described above:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — advertising ID and ad-interaction signals. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play and the Apple App Store (payments and receipt verification).
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the game and its players.
4. Retention and security
Progress and purchase records tied to your anonymous account number are kept while the game operates so your progress can be restored, and are deleted on request (see below). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Ad and store data are retained by Google and Apple under their own policies.
5. Your choices and deletion
- Ads: reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, decline the iOS tracking prompt, or buy Skip the videos to remove ads entirely.
- Deletion: to delete the progress copy tied to your account number, copy the number from the app’s Settings screen and email it to [email protected]. We will delete the associated record. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy on your device.
6. Children
Yokaigiri is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game requires no account and no personal information, it collects none regardless of age beyond the advertising and purchase data described above.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
