Privacy Policy
Snugdoku · Effective 30 September 2026
Effective date: 30 September 2026
Snugdoku ("the game") is a logic puzzle game made by Kaizen KR ("we"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have.
Service information
- App name: Snugdoku
- Package name (Android): com.kaizen.snugdoku
- Developer: Kaizen KR

The short version
- The game has no accounts, login, chat or server of our own. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device.
- The game shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect device and usage information as described below.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- The game sends play statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase. You can turn this off at any time with "Send usage statistics" in Settings, and where consent is required it is sent only if you agreed.
Information stored on your device
Your progress, coins, decorations, settings and purchase records are saved on your device so you can keep playing, including offline. Daily reminders are scheduled on your device too. This save does not leave your device through the game (what usage statistics send is described under "Usage statistics and crash reports" below). If your device backup is on (Android backup to your Google account, or iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone and iPad), the backup includes this game save, so it may come back on a new device or after you reinstall. We cannot see or change these copies.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC, and the ad networks that AdMob works with (listed in the app's Settings under "Choose ad consent again" where consent is required). To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, these services may collect:
- your IP address, which can indicate your general location;
- your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers such as the app set ID;
- device and app information;
- how you use the app (such as app launches and taps) and interact with ads;
- diagnostic information such as app launch time and stability.
Your choices:
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent message before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time with "Choose ad consent again" in Settings.
- On iPhone and iPad, the game asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not allow it, the advertising identifier is not used and ads are shown without tracking. The game works the same either way.
- You can reset or delete your device's advertising identifier and turn off personalized ads in your device settings.
- Rewarded videos are only shown when you tap a button that offers them.
Ad content is limited to Google's PG rating or lower (suitable for most audiences with parental guidance), and we block categories such as gambling, dating, politics and religion. Blocking is not perfect, so if you see an ad that seems wrong for the game, tap "Report an ad" in Settings. The e-mail it opens lists the last few ads shown (their type, time and ad identifiers) so that we can find and block that ad. Nothing is sent unless you send the e-mail.

Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To fix problems and tune difficulty and ad frequency, the game uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config from Google LLC.
- What is sent: when puzzles start and end, when ads are requested, shown or skipped, rewards and purchases being applied (product, coin amount and a purchase identifier transformed so it cannot be reversed), opening the shop, crashes and errors, what Firebase records by itself such as app opens and time in the app, and the details Firebase adds such as app version, device model, OS version, language, approximate country and identifiers like the app instance ID.
- What is not sent: your name, e-mail address, payment details, purchase tokens, save files or the content of support e-mails.
- Where consent is required, such as the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, this is sent only if you agreed to that purpose in Google's consent message. When the app starts again, it follows the choice from its previous run for the few seconds it takes to check your consent status.
- Turning off "Send usage statistics" in Settings stops statistics and crash reports and deletes crash reports still waiting on the device. A report already being uploaded at that moment may not be stopped. It does not change what the ad services collect; your ad consent choices do.
- "Reset analytics data" in Settings starts this device's analytics identifier and locally stored analytics data afresh. It does not delete data already sent. To have that deleted, send us an e-mail with "Contact us" in Settings; the e-mail lists this device's current and recent analytics IDs, we request deletion for them, and we reply within 30 days.
- Remote Config: the game downloads settings such as ad spacing from Firebase and uses them from the next launch. This sends a Firebase installation ID, app version, country and language to Google, whether or not usage statistics are on.
- Ad revenue: Google AdMob records the revenue of each ad shown in Firebase Analytics.

Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. The store tells the game which product you bought and gives it a transaction identifier. The game keeps these on your device so that coins are never given twice and your purchases can be restored. The store may give us order records (such as the product, price, date and country) under its own terms. We never receive your card number or billing address.
Ratings
After you finish some quilts, the game may ask Google Play or the App Store to show its rating window. The store decides whether it appears, and any rating or review you leave goes to the store under its terms. The game does not learn what you wrote.
Contacting us
If you write to us ("Contact us" and "Report an ad" in Settings open your e-mail app), we receive your e-mail address and what you send. The "Contact us" e-mail starts with your app version, language and this device's analytics IDs (used for deletion requests) so that we can help. Nothing is sent unless you send the e-mail.
Children
Snugdoku is made for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information through the game, please contact us and we will help.
Security and retention
We do not run a server that stores player information. We keep e-mails you send us, and the records of ads we blocked because of a report, for one year after your last e-mail and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Firebase Analytics event data is deleted after 14 months and Crashlytics crash reports after 90 days. Google AdMob, Google Play and the App Store keep the information they collect under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
- Change your ad consent with "Choose ad consent again" in Settings (shown where consent is required), and manage the advertising identifier in your device settings.
- Use "Send usage statistics" and "Reset analytics data" in Settings to stop or restart statistics, and ask us by "Contact us" e-mail to delete analytics data already sent.
- Delete everything the game stored on your device by uninstalling it. A copy in your device backup is kept or removed according to your backup settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or Korea's Personal Information Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, to limit or object to its use, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for personalized ads. For information held by Google's ad services, use your ad consent choices, your device's ad settings or the ways described in Google's privacy policy. You can also write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we publish the new version at this address with a new effective date. The version of 30 September 2026 added Google Firebase (usage statistics, crash reports and Remote Config).
